Alyssa wanted a unique location for her Senior Portrait Session and the Burchfield Nature & Art Center sure provided that. We loved the location and the sunset, got lost in how perfect everything looked and took a ton of photos! Iroquois High School 2021!

Danielle’s Bridal Shower
After some rescheduling and change of plans Danielle had a beautiful bridal shower with her closest family and friends. One of them being me, her cousin! I snapped some photos between enjoying the party as a guest. Creekside Banquet Facility provided the perfect backdrop and there were lots of lovely touches to make the event special.
Odette’s 2 Year Portrait Session
For my daughter’s 2 Year Portrait Session we did a studio session with a balloon arch! We built the arch for our porch for a social distancing walk by party. Tip, a balloon arch that’s been out in sun and wind all day will not look good in the end. All the balloons were faded and many popped. So we built a second arch. But another tip, get a balloon arch strip because it really is so much easier to make one of these than you would think! The strip was a long clear plastic piece with holes in it to stick the balloon ends through with a slit next to the hole to push the end through to secure it. Last tip, get a hand held balloon pump.
For Odette’s outfit I ordered a few things to make sure it’d come together well. This is actually the backup dress I ordered, the first one had ruffly shoulders and just did not look right on her. You never know what something will look like in person. I got two headbands and loved and used them both. The larger felt floral headband is from Vanaguelite and the smaller from Eliinik. Her cute bird shoes are Livie and Luca and the two shirt is from Romari for Kids.
We had a blast doing these and I had to include some of the ones of us goofing around. Photographing a two year old can be a feat but sure is fun. I can’t believe my little one is two!
The Garden styled wedding fashion editorial for Auxiliary Magazine
My work is on the cover of Auxiliary Magazine’s Spring 2020 Issue and the issue features a several page styled wedding editorial I planned, styled, and photographed! I had been daydreaming about a styled wedding editorial focusing on a bride and her bridesmaids for a long time. One that would highlight the excitement, friendship, and sisterhood. I knew I needed just the right subject to be my bride and when I finally found the perfect fit, she had two family members to be bridesmaids!
Necessary Evil Designer Spotlight for Auxiliary Magazine
A fashion set I shot was recently published in the Spring 2020 Issue of Auxiliary Magazine! I shot and styled the Designer Spotlight feature on Necessary Evil with one of my favorite models Agata Waclawska. Happy to finally have this set out in the world!
