Adriana and Nathan had a very sweet lifestyle engagement session at Adriana’s family’s ice cream shop and candy store, King Condrell’s, in Kenmore. We then walked down to the Kenmore Municipal building and did some photos around the cute village of Kenmore. I love doing lifestyle engagement sessions, they allow a glimpse into your life and create photos of authentic moments. Plus they add a lot to a session, story and personality. They can be great for couples who feel a bit unsure in front of the camera because they give you something to do during your session. Though Adriana and Nathan were non-stop adorable in front of the camera. It was very special being able to photograph at Adriana’s family shop. The location and items in the shop had special meaning. A truly fun shot was recreating a movie still on the wall!
When I was contacted by Daulton of The Refined Host to photograph one of the small gatherings that would make up 2021’s Nichols Annual Auction, I knew it was going to be a stunning event! I am in love with balloon arches and was even more excited when I learned that Buffalo Balloon Co. would be putting one together for the party. The decor was a perfect mix of fun and school spirit colors with elegant and sophisticated touches. I have been finding photographing events and parties really enjoyable as I love party planning and decorations!
I had the pleasure of photographing Sophie and her lovely family in their bright and picturesque home a couple weeks after she came home from the hospital. We did a variety of shots from newborn portraits to family photos to intimate shots in her nursery. Love getting to capture the special moments and memories of those first few weeks with a newborn lifestyle session!
