We photographed Jennifer and Ryan’s engagement session at Delaware Park on a misty spring morning. Delaware Park is beautiful in the spring and we moved their session up a bit to avoid late morning rain. Everything was vibrant and vivid. There were delicate emerging flowers everywhere. Late April was the perfect time for a spring Delaware Park session! We started at Hoyt Lake for some classic shots then walked to a hanging-in-there cherry blossom tree on the other side of the lake then over to the ivy arch bridge. The bridge was stunning with yellow flowers all around. Jennifer brought a few props, a clear umbrella, a black hat, and a jean jacket, and that added variety to the session. Was great spending the morning with them and getting to know them before their wedding next year!

Jenna and Alex’s fun and bright Wedding at The Loft at Thin Man Brewery
Jenna and Alex had their wedding at The Loft at Thin Man Brewery on Chandler Street and did portraits at the Ivy Bridge at Delaware Park. They were so sweet with each other all day and their true caring and affection for each other was so apparent all day. Their wedding style was bright but classic. Their wedding vibe was fun and full of love.
Landan’s Knox Farm Maternity Session
Landan wanted to do a session for her rainbow baby and put together a beautiful outfit for it! We did the session at the always amazing Knox Farm State Park. We took advantage of the beautiful light shinning through the park’s stunning tree lined path. Of course we did lots of photos including her lovely family too. To make timing ideal for the little ones we did this session in the morning and used the red barns to have perfect shaded spots for portraits.
Nora’s Cake Smash Session
It was a pleasure to photograph Nora’s Cake Smash Session after doing her Newborn Session a year ago! We went to Stiglmeier Park and the light and wildflowers were perfect. I’m really loving this location lately. Big sister even got involved. So cute! This set up was put together by mom and it came together great but kept it simple enough with just the right pieces: a blanket, a crate, wooden letters, pumpkins as vases, and some flowers.
Cole’s Senior Session
We chose a classic location for Cole’s Senior Portrait Session, Knox Farm State Park. So many good places to take photos at this park! We got a good mix of smiling, laughing, serious, and even some a bit more dare I say “lifestyle/model/fashion”. We had a lot of fun and took full advantage of all the good photo spots. Cole’s main interest currently is his Ninja Warrior training so we even did a few photos showing those skills.
