Jennifer Link Kieffer here, I go by Jenny! I’m a Buffalo, NY based wedding, portrait, lifestyle, and fashion photographer and the owner of Jennifer Link Photography. As a multi skilled creative that excels at creative direction and project realization, I realize my vision through photography, design, styling, and writing. I love bringing together my wedding and portrait photography with my fashion photography and creative projects so you’ll see both here. I’m also the editor in chief of the subculture fashion, music, and lifestyle magazine Auxiliary Magazine. As I’ve settled into my focuses, I’ve found they really inform each other.
I started taking art classes when I was very young and never stopped making art. I painted and created until high school when I took my first photography class. Next up was studying photography and art in college and receiving my Bachelor of Fine Arts and Minor in Art History from Alfred University’s School of Art and Design. My clients include several prominent alternative fashion designers and publications as well as local businesses and awesome creatives, individuals, couples, and families. My primary medium is digital photography, but I also work with traditional film, alternative processes, video, and Super 8 film. My work has been exhibited in New York City, Toronto, and Buffalo.
I left Buffalo for New York City for a bit right after college but returned to my hometown with a deeper appreciation of all it has to offer. I loved my time in New York City and it was invaluable working on fashion editorial photoshoots, at a photography agency, at a photography rental studio, and photographing a ton while building my connections to launch Auxiliary Magazine.
I’m a mama to two littles Odette and Dorian, I love fashion, subculture, music, Buffalo, beer, hiking, writing, reading, movies, the Adirondacks, and bats.
My team and I are available for… fashion, beauty, advertising, commercial, editorial, lookbook, portrait, boudoir, pinup, band, lifestyle, event, and wedding photography as well as fashion styling, prop styling, creative direction, and production.
