For the February/March 2015 Issue of Auxiliary Magazine I shot the Must feature with a great team including Shannon Kramp as fashion stylist. The must-have featured piece was a wool tunic by Helmut Lang. I always enjoy shooting Must because it is a fun challenge to work on a shoot with the goal of getting just one great shot.
location
Stephanie and George’s Wedding
Stephanie and George had a beautiful and intimate winter wedding. The couple had a specific window of time to get married within so they opted for a Thursday evening wedding. A unique time made for a cozy winter gathering with close family and friends and gave the couple access to wedding vendors that were already booked up on the weekends. We had about an hour between the ceremony and reception to take the wedding photos so we shot at the same location and focused on getting portraits that captured the joy of the evening.
Sirens for Auxiliary Magazine
I think this is one of my favorite shoots of this past year! I shot this fashion editorial for Auxiliary Magazine with fashion stylist Shannon Kramp and I have to say, we make a pretty awesome team. We shot at a classic lima bean shaped pool in the country outside Buffalo and its curves allowed for lovely swooping shapes of turquoise in every shot. The models, hair, and makeup were all spot on and although we may all have been quite beat after an eight hour long shoot in the sun, we had a blast! See more of this fashion editorial and more swimsuits by Heavy Red and Tavik in the June/July 2014 Issue of Auxiliary Magazine.
Haunted Mansion for Auxiliary Magazine
I worked with fashion stylist Shannon Kramp on this creepy fashion editorial for Auxiliary Magazine. We shot at Hamlin House in the Allentown neighborhood of Buffalo and featured fashions by Pin Up Girl Clothing, Contrived to Charm, Cats Like Us, and more. You can see more of this fashion editorial in the April/May 2014 Issue of Auxiliary Magazine.
explore : Como Lake Park
It’s winter now, but I am dreaming of summer hiking and exploring parks. Over the summer we went to Como Park in the suburbs of Buffalo, NY. We tried to follow a rather vague trail and kept loosing the path then we wandered through the frisbee golf course to an odd little lighthouse.
