Last winter I shot this beauty editorial for the February/March 2015 Issue of Auxiliary Magazine. Even with a ton of planning, things go array at photoshoots. The key is knowing how to adopt when things don’t go as planned. The morning of this shoot one of our models had a health emergency and called to let me know they wouldn’t be able to make the shoot. A few phones calls were placed, a few emails sent, and then the clear solution presented itself, our fashion stylist was also a fabulous model! We reworked the concept and plans a bit and fashion stylist Shannon Kramp modeled half the looks for this editorial. This photo is the lead in shot from the editorial and one of my favorites. I used color gels to create an otherworldly feel. This is also the first editorial I shot with my new camera!

Wool Tunic Must for Auxiliary Magazine
For the February/March 2015 Issue of Auxiliary Magazine I shot the Must feature with a great team including Shannon Kramp as fashion stylist. The must-have featured piece was a wool tunic by Helmut Lang. I always enjoy shooting Must because it is a fun challenge to work on a shoot with the goal of getting just one great shot.
Street Necromancer Style for Auxiliary Magazine
This Style piece for Auxiliary Magazine’s August/September 2014 Issue features Dan Barrett of Worms of the Earth and Venal Flesh and was styled by Vanity Kills. We had a great time doing this shoot and it was fun featuring men’s fashion that is a bit more stylized.
Sherry’s Coral Hued Boudoir Portraits
This is the good girl look from one of my boudoir sessions with Sherry. The bad girl look can be seen here. We had a lot of fun doing this photoset and it gave the photos a playful feel! You can see this set in Vintage Boudoir Magazine’s Issue 5.
Stephanie and George’s Wedding
Stephanie and George had a beautiful and intimate winter wedding. The couple had a specific window of time to get married within so they opted for a Thursday evening wedding. A unique time made for a cozy winter gathering with close family and friends and gave the couple access to wedding vendors that were already booked up on the weekends. We had about an hour between the ceremony and reception to take the wedding photos so we shot at the same location and focused on getting portraits that captured the joy of the evening.
