I got to photograph Calvin every month of his first year! But instead of doing a portrait session for his third month, I captured his christening and took photos of him with his family. The christening took place at a relative’s home and we took photos outside in the backyard.
For Calvin’s two month portraits we went outside and shot in the backyard of his home. He was tuckered out by the end and I got a few shots of him asleep in his crib right before I left!
For Calvin’s one month portraits we shot in my studio. We were hoping Calvin would just snooze right through the photoshoot but he was wide awake for most of it. After a few shots he was not having it anymore so mommy had to comfort him. This was sort of a stroke of luck as some of my favorite shots from the shoot were of Calvin being held.
Over the last year I had the chance to photograph Calvin every month as he grew up. I really enjoy doing baby portraits but it was especially fun doing them with the same baby every month. After a year worth of photos, we had a beautiful collection of images! These are a few of my favorites from Calvin’s Newborn photoshoot.
