It was a cold one but we made things feel cozy and happy at Glen Park for Denise and Chris’s Engagement Session. We did their session as fast as possible because they could only stand to be outside in not so outside outfits for so long. Joking and having fun the whole time we moved from spot to spot throughout the park to get a variety of shots. We were going to be done but Denise agreed to throw on her coat and do a few close up portraits right at the end which really turned out to me some very sweet images of them.

Morgan’s Newborn Portrait Session
It was such a treat doing sweet little Morgan’s Newborn Session. She slept through the whole thing! Only opening her eyes for a brief moment to allow me to get a shot of her looking at the camera. What a great little subject. We used a combination of her clothes, accessories, and blankets and accessories and props I had at my studio. Her fuzzy pink blanket was so cozy and made for the perfect backdrop! The brand new parents got in at the end for some of their first family photos. Welcome Morgan!
Odette’s 9 Month Portrait Session
We did my daughter Odette’s 9 month portrait session when she was able to stand holding on. Kept the props simple and focused on getting tons of cute faces!
Calvin’s 4 Year Portrait Session
Calvin wasn’t feeling his 4 Year Portrait Session so we started with a little reading session to warm up. Then he showed me a bunch of his pose ideas and after some fun and playing around he was ready to give some smiles! Even though it took some time the results were sweet. Calvin’s personality came through and that really is the best.
Odetteās 6 Month Portrait Session
For my daughter Odette’s 6 month portrait session we waited a few weeks until she was able to sit up on her own. I like trying to do first year photos every 3 months and try to get the milestones of tummy time, sitting up, standing holding on, and standing alone. So sometimes that means doing them a bit before or after the 3, 6, 9, and 12 month dates. Once again for Odette’s portraits I kept it simple with props using her toys and blankets. I love all the fun and silly expressions and the clapping!
